Before we begin, we'd like to remind you of some general information.
🧭 Navigation and Course Structure
💬 Exchange with other course participants?
If you would like to get in touch and exchange with other course participants, we invite you to join an online consultation session to discuss the course content and share your personal experiences with predatory publishing on Monday, May 4, 2026, from 2:00–3:00 PM (CET). This online session offers an opportunity to connect with other researchers and interested participants. You will be able to share your experiences related to the topic and the self-paced course, meet the course author, and ask questions or raise comments. The online session will be held in German. Questions and comments in English are also welcome.
🚧 Materials and Accessibility
We have put together a range of different materials, including videos, texts, links and graphics. During production we have tried our best to make the course barrier-free. If you do encounter any hurdles, please get in touch with us (publikationsberatung@tib.eu) and we will try to find a solution.
📚References and Links
The references to literature and further links can be found at the end of the course.
