Matlab/Simulink Files: Mathematical Modeling of Thyroid Homeostasis: Implications for the AHDS

These Matlab/Simulink Files were used to generate the plots and to perform the stability analysis for the submitted paper „Mathematical Modeling of Thyroid Homeostasis: Implications for the Allan-Herndon-Dudley-Syndrome“.

The following files are available for the Michaelis-Menten modeling of the membrane transporters:

(1) 'MM_Simulation_Parameters_Healthy.m': script to define the constants and initial conditions for the Simulink model of healthy individuals

(2) 'MM_Healthy.slx' : Simulink model to simulate the hormone concentrations for healthy individuals

(3) 'MM_Simulation_Parameters_AHDS.m': script to define the constants and the initial conditions for the Simulink model of AHDS patients

(4) 'MM_AHDS.slx': Simulink model to simulate the hormone concentrations for AHDS patients

(5) 'MM_Plot_Results.m': file to plot the results of the simulation

(6) 'MM_Lyapunov_Indirect_Healthy.m': file for the application of Lyapunov's indirect method for healthy individuals

(7) 'MM_Lyapunov_Indirect_Healthy.m': file for the application of Lyapunov's indirect method for AHDS patients

The same files are available for the linear modeling of the membrane transporters. These files start with the abbreviation LM.

To reproduce the plots of the paper execute the files (1) - (5) in the presented order.
