Physical and chemical characteristics of water in Pohjanpitäjänlahti bay in May 2021

Water samples were collected and physical-chemical parameters measured from the surface water of Pohjanpitäjänlahti bay in May 2021 from four stations along a coastal salinity gradient. Temperature and conductivity were measured with field meters and chlorophyll-a spectrophotometrically from the water samples and total particulate matter from filtering the water samples through 0,7 um filters. The samples were collected 8 times straight to plastic bottles from a small boat. The data was collected to a thesis funded by Walter and Andreé de Nottbeck Foundation.
