Wave Decay (Damping Coefficient)
The datasets here contain the calculated wave decay data (beta in Villanueva et al. 2023, see Figure 3).
Each data set contains tables for all mat configurations and ADV positions such that the different datasets differ in wave condition only. See Nomenclature for naming convention.
Within each .MAT file the following information can be found: TABLES: H_r -> ratio of wave height to incident wave height at position 1. Data at each z-position (ADV height) PA -> Phase Average Hr_m -> ratio of wave height to incident wave height at position 1. Mean and standard deviation of all measurements (z-positions)
STRUCTURES: PhaseAvg_full -> phase averaged data for each USS and Mat configuration NoSample -> number of samples used during for the bins phase averaging
Hr_ASG -> x position (see experimental set-up) and ratios used to fit equation 1 (Villanueva et al, 2023)
Hr_fits -> beta (damp_Coeff) and fit coefficients
