Voltage-Controlled Magnetoelectric Devices for Neuromorphic Diffusion Process

Diffusion processes are ubiquitous. In human brains, the membrane potential of neurons is affected by stochastic noise1-3, which can be described by the Langevin equation in neuro field theory (Fig. 1a). Inspired by Langevin dynamics, denoising diffusion probabilistic models (DDPM, or diffusion model) were proposed and have become one of the major breakthroughs in deep learning over the last few years.
