The published data contain input data and simulation output of the PALM Model System 6.0 (Maronga et al., 2020, https://doi.org/10.5194/gmd-13-1335-2020) as well as wind-tunnel measurements created at the Environmental Wind Tunnel Laboratory (EWTL), Universität Hamburg, Hamburg, Germany. Simulation data was used in Gronemeier et al. (Evaluation of the Dynamic Core of the PALM Model System 6.0 in a Neutrally Stratified Urban Environment: Comparison between LES and Wind-tunnel Experiments, Geosci. Model Dev. Discuss., 2020) where a detailed description of the experiments and their results is given. The PALM source code, revision 3921, used for the simulation is published in Gronemeier et al. (2020, https://doi.org/10.25835/0046914).
