Dimethyl sulfide (DMS) net production in the sea anemone Aiptasia sp. and simulated DMS sea-to-air flux from coral reefs

This dataset contains 5 TAB-delimited TEXT files: (i) measured net DMS production (nmol g-1 anemone dry weight after 48h incubation) from bleached (Ble, n=12) and symbiotic (Sym, n=12) individuals of the sea anemone Aiptasia sp. under light and dark conditions (n=6 for each condition), (ii) simulated gross DMS production (µmol g-1 anemone dry weight after 48h incubation) (n=500), (iii) simulated net/gross DMS production ratio (unitless) (n=500), (iv) simulated sea-to-air DMS flux (µmol m-2 coral surface area d-1) from coral reefs (n=500), and (v) sensitivity values and respective standard errors (se) for each of the parameters fed into the simulation framework. All simulations in each file are Monte-Carlo-based after Latin Hypercube Sampling. For more information about parameter descriptions as well as on how the data were collected and simulated see the publication.
