In situ observation data on the summer partial pressure of carbon dioxide from the South China Sea, 2000 to 2017
These in situ sea surface pCO2 data were measured continuously with a non-dispersive infrared spectrometer 188 (Li-Cor® 7000) or by Cavity Ring-Down Spectroscopy (Picarro G2101-i) integrated 189 in a GO-8050 system (General Oceanic Inc. USA) onboard. These observational data were aggregated onto 0.5º×0.5º grid boxes in the (5-25º N, 109-122º E) region using a simple space-time average of the data in a grid box.
