Research data for the publication "full-, half-, and symmetrical cell analysis of lithium-ion battery using impedance and nonlinear frequency response"

TechnicalRemarks: The dataset presents a comparative analysis of results obtained from three distinct cell configurations: a commercial full-cell, an experimental cell in a three-electrode setup, and symmetrical cells. Electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS), distribution of relaxation times (DRT), and nonlinear frequency response analysis (NFRA) were conducted at four different states-of-charge: 100%, 80%, 50%, and 20%. The measurements were performed at 23°C using Zahner Zennium Electrochemical Workstation. The derivation of distribution of relaxation times (DRT) from EIS spectra was conducted using the software tool "All-Fit" in MATLAB, developed in-house (IAM-ET). NFRA data includes measurements of the second harmonic, Y2, and third harmonic, Y3, which provide valuable insights into the nonlinear response of the investigated system.
