Similitude simulations of marine ice-sheet instability

Numerical simulations confirming theoretical results from scaling analysis of the shallow stress balance, i.e. the retreat time of a modeled 3D ice-sheet-shelf system with respect to variations in its characteristic properties matches the analytically derived time-scaling law

Parameters a, b, c, d refer to the scaling parameters alpha (length scale), beta (vertical scale), gamma (friction scale), delta (accumulation scale), respectively.
