Porewater depth profiles of dissolved manganese and alkalinity from cores that were sliced and subsamples under a nitrogen atmosphere. Total Mn sediment concentrations from cores that were sliced under a nitrogen atmosphere. Total Mn determined by HF dissolution and ICP-OES.
