A database of radiometric dates from glaciated landscapes across the Mediterranean mountains

This database is a compilation of 1,663 radiometric ages obtained from glaciated landscapes across the Mediterranean mountains. The dates have been collated from the published literature and span the last 2 Ma. This database contains 1,275 recalculated terrestrial cosmogenic nuclide (TCN) ages; 186 recalibrated radiocarbon (14C) ages; 108 Uranium-series ages; 80 ages from luminescence dating (including optically stimulated luminescence - OSL, thermoluminescence - TL and infrared stimulated luminescence - IRSL); and 14 ages from 40Ar/39Ar, electron spin resonance (ESR) and 210Pb methods. The details of 401 moraine landform ages; input data for 10Be and 36Cl age recalculations; input data for 14C age calibration; and a reference list of publications that present radiometric ages in the Mediterranean mountains are also included. This database comprises the source data to: Allard, J.L. et al. (2021). The database has a census date of 31 August 2020.
