Hydrochemistry and carbonate chemistry measured on water bottle samples during METEOR cruise M183

The 24 x 10 L Niskin bottles rosette mounted on the frame of the ship-based CTD System onboard RV METEOR during research cruise M183 was used for the collection of discrete water samples. Samples for Total Alkalinity and Dissolved Inorganic Carbon (TA/DIC) were drawn directly from the Niskin bottles into 250 ml borosilicate glass bottles. Samples for dissolved organic carbon (DOC) and dissolved organic nitrogen (DON) were filtered directly into precombusted 25 ml glass vials. Samples for inorganic nutrients were collected directly into acid washed 60 ml Nalgene bottles. All the analysis were performed at GEOMAR following standard protocols.
