Cosmo timestep simulation data

Abstract: Data contained within this dataset are from COSMO simulations where the model timestep and aerosol (CCN) concentrations are varied. The model is initialised with the Weisman-Klemp sounding and convection is triggered by a warm bubble. Different configurations of the model numerics (Sequential-Update splittung [default], Parallel Splitting and including additional saturation adjustment before the microphysics call) are included. TechnicalRemarks: The data are the netcdf outputs from the COSMO simulations. No post-processing has been applied. CCN concentrations are 100 or 1700 CCN cm-3, the numerics is sequential, parallel, or with satad (saturation adjustment). Output is available after 0, 30, 60, 90, 114, 120 minutes for model timesteps of 1,2,3,4,5,6,10,15(,20) seconds.
