Regular 1°x1° re-gridded musica iasi water isotopologue pair dataset (a posteriori processing version 2)

Abstract: This is a re-gridded Level-3 dataset of the MUSICA IASI water isotopologue pair product. It is based on the Level-2 datasets from the MUSICA IASI full retrieval (https://dx.doi.org/10.35097/408) and the a posteriori processed {H2O, δD} pairs (https://dx.doi.org/10.35097/415), which use the thermal nadir radiances measured by the IASI instrument aboard the Metop satellites. This Level-3 dataset consists of quality-filtered {H2O, δD} pair data re-gridded on a regular 1°x1° grid and interpolated on the fixed atmospheric altitude levels 3.0, 4.2 and 6.4 km above sea level. It provides H2O and δD (including their errors) as well as information about the atmospheric temperature and pressure and some metrics documenting the representativeness of the horizontally re-gridded data. The Level-3 data are provided globally and twice daily (morning and evening overpass times) and currently comprise the full period between October 2014 and December 2020 (leading to a data volume of about 22GB). Depending on available resources, this dataset will be updated to current measurements (for data availability updates please refer to the MUSICA IASI data web page https://www.imk-asf.kit.edu/english/musica-iasi-h2oiso-v2.php). Details on this dataset are summarized in the file "ReadMe.pdf".
