Synthetic regression problem

Synthetic regression problem with two users attempting to fit a linear model of the function f (x1, x2) = 5x1 − 2x2 + 0.5x3^2. Each user has input data drawn from a distinct 2-dimensional Gaussian, and because of these domain differences, they get different exposure to the nonlinear x3^2 term.
